New iPad Air and Pro Models May Launch in March 2024

According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple is anticipated to release new products in early 2024 that feature its newly developed internal M3 chipset. Additionally, he hinted that the tech giant will soon release new MacBook Air, iPad Pro, and iPad Air models with the new CPU. Gurman also mentioned that the iPad Air will come in two sizes for the first time. He said that the iPad Pro models will have OLED panels.

The research indicates that MacBook sales have plummeted in the last year due to a retreat in computer purchases after a spike in epidemic expenditure. In the most recent quarter, Mac sales decreased by 34% to US$7.61 billion, while iPad revenue decreased by 10% to $6.44 billion.

Apple hopes to boost demand for these gadgets in the upcoming year by releasing new versions. It is anticipated that the business will release iPadOS 17.4 along with new iPad models and accessories by the end of March 2024. According to the rumor, macOS 14.3 is being used in the development of future Macs, which might launch in January or February of the following year.

Apple also anticipates releasing the Vision Pro headset, a redesigned Apple Watch, an iPad mini, an updated Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard accessories in 2024 in addition to these models.

In other developments, Apple is prioritizing the production of its goods in India. Apple has requested that its component suppliers get the batteries for the next iPhone 16 from India, according to a recent Financial Times story. The corporation wants to rely more on India’s manufacturing skills.

Manufacturers of batteries, such as Simplo Technology in Taiwan and Desay in China, have been requested to locate their plants in India. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar recently declared that TDK Corp, a Japanese manufacturer of electronic equipment, will produce lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery cells for Apple iPhones in India.
