WhatsApp Ends Unlimited Google Drive Backup for Android

WhatsApp has announced that all future chat and media backups on Android will soon count towards your Google Storage quota.

This means you can no longer enjoy unlimited WhatsApp backup on Google Drive.

You can check your current backup size and manage your Google Storage quota by going to Settings > Chats >Chat backup on WhatsApp

You can also transfer your WhatsApp chat history to a new device without using Google Drive by using the new chat transfer feature.
