Threads Adds Hashtags and Trending Topics to Its App

Threads is a new app by Instagram that allows users to share text updates and join public conversations.

Threads has recently added two new features to its app: hashtags and trending topics, which can help users discover and participate in popular and relevant discussions.

Users can add hashtags to their posts or tap on existing hashtags to see other posts with the same hashtag.

Trending topics are the most talked-about topics on Threads at a given time. Users can see the trending topics on the Explore tab, and tap on them to see the posts and threads related to them.
