Robotics Becomes Part of the National Curriculum under REB

Rwanda considers adding educational robotics to the national curriculum, with a feasibility study underway.

REB collaborates with private Edtech experts, GiZ, and MINICT to assess the feasibility of introducing robotics education across primary, secondary, and TVET levels.

Select schools will pilot the robotics course, with a focus on designing a curriculum aligned with academic goals.

The robotics course aims to provide hands-on skills, facilitate the practical application of subjects, and enhance problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

New Generation Academy supports the initiative, highlighting the importance of preparing the new generation for emerging technologies through robotics education.
