Amidst Mounting Criticism, Home Office Signs a £450 Million Cloud contract with AWS

The £450,281,369 three-year contract was signed on December 1st and is part of the G-Cloud 13 architecture.

The two parties engaged into a £100 million contract in 2020, and that contract is about to expire.

This acquisition comes at a critical juncture for AWS, as the UK competition authorities are stepping up their investigations into Microsoft and Amazon

AWS further cemented its position in the UK public sector earlier this year when it signed a £20.8 million.
