5 Easy Steps to Free Up Phone Storage with Google Photos

Download and install the Google Photos app on your Android device and sign in to your Google account.

Turn on backup and sync in Google Photos settings and choose the High Quality option for unlimited storage.

Wait for Google Photos to upload all your photos and videos to the cloud. You can check the progress in the app or the notification panel.

Tap the menu icon in Google Photos and select Free up space. You will see how much space you can save by deleting the local copies of your photos and videos.

Tap Free up and confirm. Google Photos will remove the photos and videos that are already backed up from your device.
